Overview:
The Columbus Lions are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Business Operations. This key role involves overseeing all business functions of the organization, ensuring seamless operations, and driving revenue through effective client acquisition and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all business needs for the organization, including contracts, sponsorship, and ticket sales.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote games and events.
- Manage game day operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Handle administrative tasks such as workers' compensation, accounting, and logistics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Drive corporate and individual sales focusing on client acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with ownership to set and achieve sales targets and business goals.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience in business management (training or a degree in business management is appreciated).
- Proven experience in corporate and individual sales, with a focus on client acquisition and relations.
- Experience in accounting and logistics is appreciated but not required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- No football experience is required.
Compensation:
- Full-time employment.
- Sales commission potential, pending discussion with ownership and dependent on the experience of the applicant.
