JOHN T. HARGROVE
Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army
Mr. John T. Hargrove has over 40 years of Healthcare experience primarily in sales, marketing and corporate account management. The majority of his healthcare career was spent with Johnson and Johnson in the operating companies of Ethicon, Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems. During these 24 years, Mr. Hargrove held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and corporate account management. His final position with Johnson and Johnson was Vice President of Corporate Accounts where he was responsible for the development of one of the first and most effective corporate sales programs in the healthcare industry.
Following his career with Johnson and Johnson, as President, Corporate Account Management of Ohmeda, Inc., he was responsible for the development and implementation of a multi-divisional corporate sales program. Mr. Hargrove’s division worked with buying groups, hospitals and integrated delivery networks on overall business and strategic planning with focus on total delivered value.
Mr. Hargrove is a military veteran serving from 1970 to 1972 in the United States Army Signal Corps and then the United States Army Reserves from 1972 to 1976. He has been honored with numerous military recognitions in recent years to include the Order of Saint Maurice by the National Infantry Association and the Noble Patron of Honor by the United States Armor Association. In April 2017, Mr. Hargrove was appointed as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army—Georgia (West).
Mr. Hargrove is a member of the National Infantry Museum Foundation Board. He is a member of the Springer Theater Board of Directors, Columbus State University Communications Advisory Board and the “Right from the Start” Board that focuses on the development of our community youth. Mr. Hargrove is the former Chairman of the Board for Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc and from 2010 to October, 2016 was CEO and Chairman of the Board of a surgical robotic company, Titan Medical Inc. Mr. Hargrove is currently a co-owner of the Columbus Lions Indoor Football team of the National Arena League.
Mr. Hargrove lives in Columbus GA with his wife, Sis. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
