The Columbus Lions should be well rested when they head down to Jacksonville for their matchup against the Sharks on Saturday night. The Lions are coming off a bye week that allowed for them to get some rest and prepare for what should be a fantastic game Saturday night.

This is the first time the Lions have been back to Jacksonville since that lost last year in the NAL Championship. The Lions defeated the Sharks earlier in the season at home by a score of 51-41. The Lions will be looking to avenge last season’s lost and could make a big statement to the rest of the league with a win in Jacksonville on Saturday night.
One of the biggest changed the Lions will see is at the quarterback position. The Sharks now have Adrian McPherson under center. McPherson comes off his best game yet where he threw for 246 yards and seven touchdowns. The Lions defense will have to rise to the challenge as they face a new quarterback.
The Lions last played two weeks ago and what a game that was for quarterback Mason Espinosa. Espinosa was fantastic even earning NAL Player of the Week Honors. Espinosa will look to continue that success and continue to utilize the weapons around him. Those weapons come in the form of a trio of wide receivers who have dazzled this year. It has been a three-headed monster at the wide receiver position with the likes of Jarmon Fortson, Triston Purifoy and Durron Neal. Fortson leads the trio with 14 touchdowns. All are about even in yards with around 350 apiece. This shows how effective Espinosa has been all season along, with spreading the ball around. The Sharks defense will have a difficult time trying to corral the Lions receivers for four quarters.
It is going to be a hard-fought game on Saturday and you can catch all the action as the game will be live streamed on YouTube. Tune in as the Lions look for revenge Saturday night at 7pm EST.
