NAL Announces Championship Weekend Schedule- Events to take place Sunday, July 9

ATLANTA – The National Arena League announced today that they will hold a Media Day and Awards Banquet Sunday, June 9 on the eve of the National Arena League Championship Game. The National Arena League Championship Media Day will take place Sunday, July 9 at 2pm at the Times Union Center in downtown Jacksonville. The event will be specifically located inside the Times Union Center overlooking the St. Johns River at 300 Water Street, Jacksonville, FL.

Media Day will feature the head coaches of both the Columbus Lions and the Jacksonville Sharks along with players for each team. The event is open to the public and will be hosted by the Jacksonville Sharks and the NAL’s Commissioner John Gregory and Director of Football Operations Chris Siegfried. Players and Coaches will address the media followed by an open Q&A.  

The 2017 National Arena League Award Banquet will also be held at the Times Union Center in downtown Jacksonville Sunday, July 9. The event will kickoff at 6pm and will be a invite only event catering to all the team’s in the National Arena League, league staff, players and guests. The banquet will be set for business attire and will feature beer, wine, soda and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.

A facebook live feed for both events will be available on the Jacksonville Sharks facebook page (facebook.com/jaxsharks), Columbus Lions facebook page (facebook.com/lionsfootball) and the National Arena League’s facebook page (facebook.com/nationalarenaleague).

Following the events on Sunday, July 9 the Columbus Lions and Jacksonville Sharks will face off Monday night July 10 at 7:30 for the National Arena League Championship game. For tickets to the NAL Championship game call 904.621.0700.
